    W. H. Diemert & Wife of Moorhead MN - Saloon Bar Owner; Elks Parade 1912
Large Framed Photograph Prominent W.H. Diemert Fargo ND / Moorhead MN Elks Parade 1912
This is a fun piece of history for Moorhead Minnesota, Fargo and Jamestown....Prominent businessman for the area in regards to Saloon keeping, Liquor Industry and Lobbyist and Automobile Dealer.
I've had this in my photo collection for years and letting go of a few of my favorites. This is a 7.5" by 9.5" actual and original photograph in a 13.5" by 15.5" ornate walnut frame.
Beautiful flowered brand new Buick from 1912 with the family of  William Henry Diemert. They won the second prize as titled in the photograph and in the newspaper clipping added to the photos (see last one).
    Some history:
    William Henry Diemert
Birth 15 Jun 1873 Deemerton, Bruce County, Ontario, Canada
Death 10 May 1944 Moorhead, Clay County, Minnesota, USA

W.H.Diemert - Advocate for the Liquor Industry.
Very good condition with the photo never taken out of the frame by me. Looks to be well preserved. The frame has some missing filigree in the corners. See photos.
