VINTAGE ONYX DESKTOP ACCESSORY DOUBLE PEN HOLDER w BAKELITE S.W.O. & M.CO.
Handsome.  Unusual design brass hardware that attaches to the onyx and pen ‘cup’.  Pen cup probably bakelite.  Unusual pen cup in that it is tall and the opening rounded.
I peeled back the felt pad to see if there was a manufacturer’s stamp and found:  S.W.O & M. CO.  If anyone out there knows who this is, would appreciate the info!  Thanks.
Onyx is 5 1/2” x 7” x 7/8”.  Bakelite holders are 2 5/8” h & 1/2” at the opening.
Condition:  Brass hardware moves easily and is solidly attached to the onyx.  As is the nature of onyx, when tilting toward the light you can see tiny imperfections and light scratches.  The lower right corner of the platform looks chipped when examined closely.  No cracks observed on pen cups.

ABOUT SHIPPING: MEDIA MAIL:  When an item qualifies for “Media Mail shipping”, I make an effort to minimize shipping costs for my buyers and opt for this shipping method.  However, arrival times can be lengthy (I’ve experienced up to 2-4 weeks arrival time!) and I understand there is a slightly increased risk of damage.  If you wish me to upgrade the shipping method for you in order to receive your purchase earlier or reduce the risk of possible damage, please do not hesitate to ask.  On ‘EXPENSIVE TO SHIP’ items, always happy to investigate a more economic option.  Just ask!  This item is located in a rural area; mailing is typically done once a week.  Please note shipping method - as this can greatly affect delivery time, i.e. Economy & Media Mail likely take much longer.  Weather & holidays can also affect delivery.  If your purchase is to go FedEx, fyi: it must be shipped the same day the postage is purchased.  Again, we are located in a rural area and that may affect shipping.  However, we have an excellent track record for timely shipping.
Also:  I am absolutely willing to ship using a more economical method for my buyers.  So, please feel free to make a suggestion.
