I haven't been able to find any information on it,nor can I find an image of another one like it.
The elk's head on this pin is much more realistic than what I see on other
B.P.O.E
pins. I think the back is stamped

The indentation on the back leads me to believe that it was cast but it is
not gold
.
Usually when a mold is made,more than one item is cast from it,but as I mentioned I don't see any other ones with this amount of detail.
