Vintage Tiffany & Co Boxed Sterling Silver Wedding Set - Cake Knife & Server | Lotus Pattern - No Monogram - In Original Presentation Box
Made by Tiffany & Co and in fine pre-owned condition, may I offer this boxed  wedding cake set composed of a cake knife and server.  Used only twice in its life, the set bears the history of the piece engraved on a piece of silver that has been applied to the top of the box.  The first time the set was used was at a wedding in 1997, then again at a wedding in 2011 and then in 2021, either the couple divorced or simply didn't want the set anymore whereupon it came into my possession.
The set has been created in Tiffany's Lotus pattern and has sterling silver handles and stainless steel blades; both pieces are hallmarked.  The cake knife measures 12.5" in length and 1 inch at the widest point. The cake server measures 10.75" in length and 2.25" at the widest point.
Condition of the cake set is quite fine - both pieces needing only a light polish as the handles have tarnished within the box.  The blue box itself is in very nice condition but there is a tear in the faux leather top that will be hard to spot as it is practically invisible.  Original retail of the set was and still is 5 at Tiffany.  You might be able to buy a new presentation box from Tiffany - one without a sterling top - but then again, you might not.
A wonderful bit of silver that can still be used today!
