The Quaking Aspen is a Poplar tree that's native and the most widely distributed tree of North America. Their shape is pyramidal and narrow when young, but develops a characteristic rounded top at maturity. This tree will grow in a wide range of soils. Dark-green foliage turns golden-yellow in fall and looks excellent in the landscape when planted in groups. Leaves "tremble", even in light winds, creating a very distinctive and pleasant sound.  Mature growth is around 60-80' tall x 30' wide.
We are shipping the actual plants in our photos. Prices may be a little higher than others because of the size of the plants and packaging required to ship large plants. We strive to provide the biggest and healthiest plants you'll find online. These ship from a Minnesota family owned and operated Garden Center. Please remove plants from packaging and soon as they arrive and let us know immediately if there is a problem with the plants. We do our best to package them securely and keep them from being damaged, but once they leave our store weird things have happened.(very rarely) Most of the damage reported is a broken tip to a branch or two and will not affect the plant in the least bit. Trim off the damage with a cleaned sharp pruners and they will heal on their own just fine. In several years of shipping less than 1% of our shipments have had any issues whatsoever.
