Refined and sophisticated, this classy woman stands in a comfortable and relaxed position. She places her arm behind her back and grabs onto her other arm, like a innocent child. Her hair is short and her style of clothes is reminiscent t of the 1950’s. She stand with her faithful borzoi behind her, she looks down wondering what he is getting into.  She is a beautiful busty women with voluptuous curves. This definitely has “Classic” written all over it. This is a handmade bronze sculpture it was casted using the “Lost Wax Method”. It has the artist signature in the base of the bronze and it is mounted a top a beautiful black marble base. Josef Lorenzl (Austrian,1892 - 1950) one of the best known art deco sculptors, he produced many works in the 1920`s and 1930`s, in bronze or the combination of bronze and ivory. It is known that he designed ceramics for the Austrian firm of Goldscheider.
