Italian Bronze Bookend - Signed MIKA - Hawk, Pheasant, Eagle, Quail?

For your consideration, a beautiful Bronze/Brass Bird Bookend signed MIKA, Italy.
There isn't a whole lot of information on this company, but of the few things available by MIKA all are of a very good quality. This single bookend features a bird mounted to its base…. Books would slide over the base and be held in place by the bird. I'm not sure of what kind of bird this is?… Hawk, Pheasant, Eagle, Quail? The Height is 3.25" inches tall on a base that measures 6.5" inches by 4" inches. Very heavy for its size at 20 ounces. Condition is very good, plenty of shine with the most evident wear on the bottom of the base, micro-abrasions from years of sitting on a shelf.
