    Description

    Indian rosewood hand carved statue of Vishnu (?). Statue stands 17" tall, base is 5" dia. weight , 3 lbs. I'm not sure of its age but appears old. This belonged to my mother who acquired it in the late 1950's or early 1960's. It was displayed in our living room although we were not Hindu she just had eclectic tastes, The back has some kind of material filler that I assume was original to the statue because this is how I always remember it. The base is a separate piece of wood joined to the statue and there is a modest bit of movement between the two. shipping to only the 50 states. Thanks for looking.
