DOT Radioactive III Hazard Labels Class 7
There is something that makes our skin tingle when we think about radioactivity and nuclear destruction. Acute Radiation Syndrome can cause serious health issues including cancer and even death. There are, however, many good things about radiation. For example, if it were not for radiation, we would not have x-ray technology, certain cancer treatments, or even radiation can produce power. To transport radioactive materials, there are standards set by the United Nations for protection. These labels qualify to safely transport such materials.
They say RADIOACTIVE III: CONTENTS, ACTIVITY, TRANSPORT INDEX 7. The number next to the word radioactive is just to specify what type of material is being transported. The Contents say exactly what is inside the package and activity explains how active the material is radiologically. Transport Index explains the shipping info, and the 7 is the DOT level standard of these type of material. These labels are highly noticeable due to the bright color presented and the bold lettering. The radioactive symbol also makes them very distinct on a package.
Each label is 4 x 4 inches square with rounded edges. The edges allow for easy peel and application. The adhesive is permanent so once its down, its there and it's not going to go anywhere. Please note that though permanent, they are not waterproof so have care not to get them too wet. There are 500 stickers on each roll. The rolls fit easily into a label applicator if you so desire.
