These labels say "Exempt Animal Specimen". They are 1.5" x 3" in size and are made of a semi-gloss paper material that has a permanent adhesive backing. We use eco-friendly red print for the design.
We also have Exempt Human Specimen as well. We ship the same day you order as we are the manufacturer, located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
There are 500 on each roll, and can be peeled by hand and applied, or by a label applicator. The adhesive is strong and made to withstand extreme cold areas such as freezers.
What are terms of Exempt Animal Specimen?
A human sample (including, but not limited to, secreta, excreta, blood and its components, tissue fluids, and body parts) transported for routine testing not related to the diagnosis of an infectious disease.
Typically, exempt animal specimens are specimens for which there is a low probability that the sample is infectious, such as specimens for drug or alcohol testing; cholesterol testing; blood glucose level testing: prostate-specific antigens (PSA) testing; testing to monitor heart, kidney, or liver function; pregnancy testing; and testing for diagnosis of noninfectious diseases such as cancer biopsies.
Exempt animal specimens are not subject to regulation as hazardous materials but must be packaged according to US Department of Transportation (DOT) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations.
