You are buying one live tree, size 2 inches to 6 inches.Bay Tree is beautiful evergreen tree, with very attractive foliage. The leaves are dried to be used in soups and stews for their aroma and the amazing flavor it adds to food. Fresh leaves release aroma when crushed. You may harvest the leaves at any time. The larger leaves are more mature and release more aroma and flavor.
It can be grown in a container and kept small or plant in ground to allow it grow tall and keep it to desired height by pruning. This beautiful bushy tree can be shaped into topiary shape. It is a slow growing tree.
Blooms in spring to summer.
Cold hardy to zones 7 to 10. In cooler areas should be grown in container and bring indoors in cold temperatures.
