Gelatin silver real photo postcard by BEAM, 5070 Hollywood Blvd. ~ 1921 electric Elks Parade float, with a huge "elk" pulling a stylized vehicle with four women, each of whom is wearing a sash bearing one of the four virtue attributes spoken in the BPOE motto: Brotherly Love, Fidelity, Justice and Charity ~ very well-lighted clock above the words "Brotherly Love" which appears to be the "title" of this float; small sign on the lower portion of the float has the words "Hello Bill" METRO, possibly a sponsor ~ B.P.O.E., Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, a fraternal organization founded in 1868 in New York
