    You are bidding on a pair of vintage, seldom seen, 40-strike matchcovers from the Aircraft Engineering Manufacturing Company (tools-dies-jigs-fixtures-special machinery) of Los Angeles, California. Each matchcover features two sepia tone photographs of United States military jet aircraft: Douglas A3D Twin Jet Attack Bomber, North American F-86 Sabre Jet, Boeing YB-52 Stratofortress Heavy Bomber, and Convair XF2Y-1 Sea Dart Jet Fighter

    Circa 1950s. Measures 4-7/16 inches in height x 3 inches in width. Very nice overall condition; some discoloration to the cover. There is a small hole punched through the right edge of the striker. Matchcovers were never folded.
