    Description

We are offering an Allegheny Elks Lodge No. 339 Elks Tooth Gold Mounted Watch Fob.  (Fob tested 10K Gold).
Initials "HD" and "339" are on the back.  The mount has a clock with the hands on the "11th Hour", symbolizing the ceremonial "Eleven O'clock Toast" conducted at every meeting and social function of the BPOE (Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks).
The Allegheny Elks Lodge No. 339, which was instituted in 1896, is located in Pittsburgh along the north shore of the Allegheny River.  The BPOE was founded in 1868 at which time the majestic elk was chosen as their symbol because of its peaceful nature but also because of its willingness to quickly defend itself if threatened.  The founders believed the elk was a fitting representation of an American, patriotic and family oriented organization such as theirs.
CONDITON: FOB is in Excellent Condition.
