Akee Fruit (blighia sapida) Air Layer from Mature Tree!

Description

The national fruit of Jamaica grows on this fast-growing and low maintenance tree.  Once established, the akee tree produces an abundance of fruit that is poisonous until fully ripe, and then, only the exposed arils are fit for consumption.  The flavor is very interesting, and to me tastes kinda like salted butter with a bit of nuttiness and smooth/chewy texture.  Not very fruity at all, but delicious nonetheless.  Air-layers all have established roots and and new growth, and have been potted up for about 1 year.  Sizes range from 18-24" tall with branching.

I ship all plants USPS Priority on Mon. & Tues only. I will also ship FedEx if requested by the buyer.  Please understand that I cannot be responsible for how or when your package arrives at your house.  I only ship perfectly healthy plants in boxes that are not crushed, folded, torn, etc. However, that is not always how they arrive.  I also ship all packages with 2-3 day post from USPS or FedEx, and hope that they arrive in that amount of time.   That is also not always the case.
I can only guarantee that your plants are healthy and packaged well before handing them off to be delivered to you.  I cannot be responsible for any damage or death as a result of mishandling in the shipping process, or if your package sits on a hot porch or in a mailbox all day, weekend, etc.   In short, will not be issuing refunds or replacing plants that are somehow damaged in shipping.  In that case, it will be the recipient's responsibility to contact and file a claim with their local carrier.  This is the only way I can continue to offer these incredibly unique plants at fair prices.  Thanks for understanding!
