Here's the
1978 Krewe of Elks-Orleanians Plain Aluminum 10g High Relief Doubloon.
The doubloon measures 39mm or 1 1/2" in diameter and is in
Excellent Condition.
Payment due within 48 hours of purchase.
Note:  The obverse features the Elks-Orleanians Logo.  The reverse features the Elks Tomb and reads "ELKS TOMB...ELKS KREWE OF ORLEANIANS...EST. 1935...1978."  These Special Doubloons were struck on the thick 10g (10 gauge) aluminum planchette in High Relief.  They were made for and issued by those Carnival Clubs which participated in the Elks-Orleanians Truck Parade on Mardi Gras Day in 1978 in New Orleans.  Great
