Upper control-arm mounts are 'trim-to-fit' due to the wide variety of 9" Ford Housings.
The lower mounts in this kit have only one control arm bolt position.
Kit does not include lower coil spring perches. If needed, order (2) perches 917-20243.

Weld these brackets to your 9" Ford housing and install it in your 1978-1988 GM Metric chassis. Includes upper and lower control arm mounts, and weld-on caliper brackets for use with Metric calipers. Welding is required. Designed for 3-1/2" axle tubes, but can be fit to 3" tubes.

Summary:
I have used these parts before, putting a 9" Ford in a G body. The parts worked well on the nine inch. I am having to do some rework on the upper trailing arm brackets to put an 8.8" axle, out of an Explorer, into my Monte Carlo. (used 9" axle parts are just too expensive for a budget street car these days........) The group of parts would be more convenient if it contained the coil spring pads instead of the disc brake caliper brackets, I ordered the coil springs pads, in addition to this group, and threw the disc brake caliper brackets in the scrap pile.

Return Policy
