Description
PERFECT FOR A SMALL FLOWER AREAThis light is currently putting in work as a seedling/clone light for some decent buds during flower,vege ,round spinach, swiss chard, lettuce, etc.also is working well on very large seedlings and also lettuce greens. The plant growth is thick and dense, larger than expected!
BY WATTAGE AND PAR TESTING
It only takes 92w at the wall and can produce 450+ micromoles at 16" and it will hold 400ish in a 2x2 area at that height. And the brand LM301B diodes offer a high efficacy rating of 2.7 umol/J. the blend of LED colors. Some quantum boards only have a single color for all diodes. Compared to them, this LED has a more complete spectrum., the fact that it is closer to daylight. Same power draw, but WAY more light!
HOW BRIGHT THIS LIGHT WAS
The entire room light up like I was using one of those lights you see in parking lots of grand openings lol.You don't need this light 12" above your plants. It doesnt matter if you keep it 12" above your plants, or 30" above. It is BRIGHT! LED has an even light distribution at 24 inches
HEAT DISSIPATION
the solid aluminum heat sink the LED's are mounted on, and no fans. .but if you can get a cheap clip on fan, just aim it over the ballast on the light. It will not even get warm.The no fan is not an issue. Since it has no fan, it's super quiet.No power is wasted on fans or inefficient drivers.uses brand diodes and ul certification drivers which are both leaders in LED hardware so reliability should be high.
The aluminum board is thick and sturdy. It gets hot to the touch, but its much cooler than other techs. Rubbery coating reduces risk from splashes.
